The Yellow River in Ordos Cave has dropped below the warning water level.

Reporters learned from the Inner Mongolia Hydrology and Water Resources Center that as of 8:00 on August 21, the water level at the Longwan Hydrological Station in Kuye River, Ejinhoro Banner, Ordos City, was 45.55 meters, with a flow rate of 68.2 cubic meters per second. Due to heavy rainfall and upstream water inflow, the water level at the Kuye River Longwan Station in Ejinhoro Banner, Ordos City, reached 48.08 meters on August 19 at 6:00, with a flow rate reaching 2500 cubic meters per second, exceeding the historical maximum values and reaching the red alert level. Currently, the water level at the Kuye River has dropped below the warning level, and the hydrology department is still monitoring continuously and ensuring flood prevention measures.
