The website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the National Supervisory Commission reported on August 21 that, according to the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, with the approval of the Guizhou Provincial Committee, the Guizhou Provincial Supervisory Commission has launched an investigation into the serious violations of duty by Yang Yunyong, former deputy chairman of the Guizhou Provincial Committee of the Zhigong Party and general manager of Guizhou Alcula Technology Co., Ltd. After investigation, it was found that Yang Yunyong, as a national public servant, had lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original mission, disregarded the spirit of the Eight Rules of the Central Committee, and had received gifts, money, and banquets that could affect the fair exercise of public power; violated integrity requirements, engaged in profit-making activities in violation of regulations; was greedy, engaged in trading power and money, used his position for personal gain in project contracting, payment of funds, and other aspects, and illegally accepted huge sums of money. Yang Yunyong's actions have constituted serious violations of duty and are suspected of corruption crimes. After the 18th National Congress of the Party, he did not restrain himself, continued his misconduct, with serious nature and bad influence, should be dealt with severely. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China and the Administrative Sanctions Law for Public Officials of the People's Republic of China, after review and approval by the Guizhou Provincial Committee, the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection decided to dismiss Yang Yunyong from his public office, confiscate his ill-gotten gains, and transfer his suspected criminal issues to the procuratorial authorities for review and prosecution in accordance with the law, with all involved assets transferred together.
