An equipment explosion occurred in a workshop of a company in Lingui District, Guilin City, Guangxi, resulting in 7 injuries.

On August 21, 2025 at around 5:40 am, an equipment explosion occurred in a workshop of a company in Lingui District, Guilin City, Guangxi. After full rescue efforts, 7 injured individuals were rescued and promptly taken to the hospital for treatment, with 3 in critical condition and 4 with minor injuries, none of whom are in life-threatening condition. Another trapped individual, after being rescued, was unable to be revived by medical personnel and was pronounced dead on site. Currently, the treatment of the injured, post-incident cleanup, and investigation of the cause are ongoing.
