The China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission stated that it is studying the formulation of guidelines on improving the level of service and protection of health insurance. The guidelines will focus on promoting better alignment of supply and demand, enhancing industry operation capabilities, strengthening health insurance supervision, optimizing the development environment for health insurance, and proposing the next steps for the development of health insurance. It will further clarify the development focus and tasks of different types of health insurance.
