The Chongqing branch of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange recently learned that they have successfully processed the integrated foreign currency fund pool business for a large multinational corporation, one of the world's six major pen electronics contract manufacturers. This signifies the successful implementation of the high-end version of the fund pool pilot project in Chongqing. In early 2025, taking advantage of the construction of the Western Land-Sea New Channel, the Chongqing branch of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange obtained policy support from the national administration to carry out the pilot project of integrated foreign currency fund pool business for multinational companies in Chongqing through demand research, bank-enterprise collaboration, market cultivation, and other means. It is understood that the pilot project of the high-end version of the fund pool business is an iteration and optimization of policies for the centralized operation and management of cross-border funds for multinational companies.
