Tencent's mobile game "Fearless Contract" debuts as the number one app on the iPhone app download chart and earns millions of dollars in revenue.
Tencent Holdings' mobile game "Fearless Contract" made a strong debut this week, attracting $1 million in player spending from iPhone platform players on the first day of its launch in China. This colorful shooting game, which made its PC debut in 2020, is one of Tencent's heavy-hitting mobile games launched this year, drawing particular attention as observers watch the company maintain its strategy of so-called "evergreen tree games". According to data from Appfigures, the game was downloaded approximately 170,000 times on the first day, comparable to Tencent's mobile game "Dungeon & Fighter" launched a year ago, making it the highest among all iPhone applications. "Fearless Contract" is currently only available in China, with no clear release date for the global market. The game is free, with revenue generated from in-app purchases and character "skins".
