Ge Peifan: 22 low-altitude economic regulatory sandbox pilot projects have landed, proposing to start commercial operations after the second phase of the pilot.
According to the financial app, the Hong Kong government is promoting the development of low-altitude economy. The first batch of "regulatory sandbox" pilots have received a total of 72 applications, with 38 approvals. On August 20th, Legislative Councilor Ted Hui of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB) said that 22 approved projects have been implemented, and 8 of the unapproved projects are for manned flights. With the relevant legislation coming into effect in mid-July, the Hong Kong government is contacting each one to see if they can conduct test flights, hoping to implement at least one or two projects by the end of this year.
