Some flights from Guangzhou to Shanghai Hongqiao have implemented "one-minute boarding".

On August 20, reporters learned at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport that starting from today, some Southern Airlines flights from Guangzhou to Shanghai Hongqiao will continue to cancel the check-in cut-off time, allowing for "boarding at the last minute". On July 8 of this year, Southern Airlines flights between Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport completely cancelled the check-in cut-off time and introduced the "boarding at the last minute" service, reducing the traditional check-in requirement of arriving 30 to 40 minutes in advance of closing the check-in counter for passengers. Starting today, this measure will be further expanded to apply to a wider range of routes, with the "boarding at the last minute" service continuing to be implemented on Southern Airlines round-trip flights from Guangzhou to Shanghai Hongqiao. Passengers who do not need to check-in luggage only need to complete security checks and arrive at the boarding gate before it closes in order to board.
