Core machinery orders in Japan grew by 3% month-on-month in June, but are expected to decrease by 0.5%.

According to data released by the Japanese Cabinet Office, core machinery orders increased by 7.6% year-on-year, estimated to rise by 4.7%. 25 economists' forecasts for month-on-month data ranged from a decrease of 3.8% to an increase of 4.5%, with orders in May falling by 0.6% month-on-month.
