Currently, urbanization in China is transitioning from a period of rapid growth to a phase of stable development, and urban development is shifting from a stage of large-scale incremental expansion to a focus on improving the quality and efficiency of existing resources. Faced with new challenges in this new phase, the Central Urban Work Conference has proposed shifting the focus of urban work to emphasize governance and investment. We must deeply understand and earnestly implement this proposal, to achieve success in advancing the modernization of urban governance. In the digital age, the advancement of technology is essential for progress. This means accelerating the pace of smart city construction, expanding digital governance applications, and creating an intelligent hub for urban operations and governance. By fully utilizing technologies such as big data and cloud computing, we can promote data connectivity and sharing, enhance governance efficiency, leverage technological advantages to accurately identify and address prominent issues in urban operations, and achieve early detection, early warning, and early resolution of urban security risks. We must also establish effective feedback channels, use technology to focus on details, and ensure a continuous improvement in the precision of urban governance.
