In the first half of this year, China's goods trade with other member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization reached 247.7 billion US dollars.
Reporters learned from the Ministry of Commerce that in recent years, the regional economic cooperation of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) has made continuous new progress. Among them, the scale of goods trade continues to expand. In the first half of this year, the total trade volume of goods between China and other member countries reached 247.7 billion US dollars, an increase of 0.8% year-on-year. China mainly exports machinery and electrical products, automobiles and parts, clothing, chemicals, etc. to other member countries, and mainly imports oil and gas, agricultural products, coal, and minerals from other member countries. In the past five years, the trade volume between China and other SCO member countries has successively exceeded 300 billion, 400 billion, and 500 billion US dollars, reaching a historic high of 512.4 billion US dollars in 2024, an increase of 2.7% year-on-year.
