This marks that China's technological route in the field of artificial shaft cavern gas storage has been fully opened up, and the compressed air energy storage industry is moving towards large-scale and industrialized development. Compressed air energy storage is a way to convert electric energy into compressed air pressure energy during low grid load periods, store it, and release the compressed air during high grid load periods to drive a turbine for power generation.
