Night economy is on the rise, and businesses are receiving more orders. Some dumpling shops can even stay open until 3 in the morning.
The "Urban Residents' Consumer Habits Survey Report" released by the Ministry of Commerce shows that 60% of consumption in China occurs at night, with consumption in large shopping malls from 6 pm to 10 pm accounting for over 50% of total daily consumption. Data from Fudan University's Big Data Laboratory shows that since June of this year, the total consumption in the Shanghai nighttime consumer market has reached 88.09 billion yuan, an increase of 3.3% compared to the previous year. The enthusiasm for night economy is surging this summer, with small food shops that used to rely on two or three meals a day now focusing more on young people who work late or travel at night. How to excel in the night economy has become a topic of discussion, and changes are starting to penetrate every aspect of society.
