Henan Province releases an overview of notifiable infectious diseases in July.

The Health Commission of Henan Province recently released the epidemic situation of statutory infectious diseases in Henan Province in July 2025. In July 2025, a total of 39,514 cases of statutory infectious diseases were reported in the province, with 144 deaths. There were no reports of Class A infectious diseases; among Class B infectious diseases, there were no reports of non-infectious SARS, polio, human infection with highly pathogenic avian influenza, meningococcal meningitis, diphtheria, neonatal tetanus, hookworm disease, schistosomiasis, and human infection with H7N9 avian influenza. The remaining infectious diseases reported a total of 21,339 cases with 144 deaths. The top five reported diseases in terms of case numbers were viral hepatitis, novel coronavirus infection, pulmonary tuberculosis, syphilis, and dysentery, accounting for 93.95% of the total reported cases of Class B infectious diseases.
