In July, the total import and export value of goods was 3.9102 trillion yuan, an increase of 6.7% compared to the same period last year. Of this, exports were 2.3077 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.0%; imports were 1.6026 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.8%. From January to July, the total import and export value of goods was 25.6969 trillion yuan, an increase of 3.5% compared to the same period last year. Of this, exports were 15.3048 trillion yuan, an increase of 7.3%; imports were 10.3922 trillion yuan, a decrease of 1.6%. From January to July, the import and export of general trade increased by 2.1%, accounting for 64.0% of the total import and export value. The import and export with countries participating in the "Belt and Road" initiative increased by 5.5%. The import and export of private enterprises increased by 7.4%, accounting for 57.1% of the total import and export value, an increase of 2.1 percentage points compared to the same period last year. The export of mechanical and electrical products increased by 9.3%, accounting for 60.0% of the total export value.
