According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in July, the national service industry production index increased by 5.8% year-on-year. By industry, the production index of information transmission, software and information technology services, finance industry, and leasing and business services increased by 11.9%, 8.7%, 8.0% respectively, which was faster than the overall service industry production index by 6.1%, 2.9%, and 2.2 percentage points. From January to July, the national service industry production index increased by 5.9% year-on-year. From January to June, the operating income of service industry enterprises above a certain scale increased by 7.5% year-on-year. In July, the business activity index for the service industry was 50.0%, and the expected business activity index for the service industry was 56.6%. Among them, the business activity indexes for industries such as railway transportation, air transportation, postal services, and cultural, sports, and entertainment activities were in the high prosperity range above 60.0%.
