National Railway Administration: Railway passenger and freight volume steadily increasing in July.

According to the website of the National Railway Administration, in July, the national railway completed a passenger volume of 4.55 billion people, an increase of 6.6% year-on-year; completed a passenger turnover of 1,770.69 billion passenger-kilometers, an increase of 5.7% year-on-year. In the first seven months of this year, the national railway completed a passenger volume of 2.691 billion people, an increase of 6.7% year-on-year; completed a passenger turnover of 9766.50 billion passenger-kilometers, an increase of 3.3% year-on-year. In July, the national railway completed a freight volume of 4.52 billion tons, an increase of 4.5% year-on-year; completed a freight turnover of 3042.17 billion ton-kilometers, an increase of 6.5% year-on-year. In the first seven months of this year, the national railway completed a fixed asset investment of 433 billion yuan, an increase of 5.6% year-on-year, and the efficient progress of railway planning and construction.
