Biotechnology index ETF rose more than 2.3%, leading the sector of US stock industry ETFs.

On Wednesday, the biotechnology index ETF closed up 2.31%, while the global aviation industry ETF, regional bank ETF, banking industry ETF, healthcare industry ETF, consumer discretionary ETF, and energy industry ETF all rose between 1.90% to 1.16%. The semiconductor ETF rose 0.39%, while the internet index ETF and technology industry ETF both rose less than 0.10%. The global technology index ETF, however, decreased by 0.16%.
