The total amount of funds in the futures market has reached a historic high, with a significant increase in the equity of general institutional clients.

The China Futures Market Monitoring Center released data on August 13th showing that since 2025, China's economic performance has continued to improve, with the overall operation of the futures market remaining stable. The variety system is constantly improving, market functions are effectively playing out, and the total amount of funds in the futures market continues to steadily increase. As of the end of July 2025, the total amount of funds in the futures market is about 1.82 trillion yuan, an increase of 11.6% from the end of 2024. On July 24, 2025, the total amount of funds in the futures market reached 1,826.776 billion yuan, a historical high. The total equity of futures companies' clients is about 1.71 trillion yuan, an increase of 11.2% from the end of 2024. Among them, the overall equity growth of general corporate clients, including industrial clients, increased significantly, by 18.5% compared to the end of 2024.
