According to CNBC, two government officials have revealed that the Trump administration is considering 11 candidates to replace Jerome Powell as Federal Reserve Chairman when his term expires, including three individuals who have never been publicly nominated before. The new candidates include David Zervos, Chief Market Strategist at Jefferies, former Federal Reserve Governor Larry Lindsey, and Rick Rieder, Chief Investment Officer for Fixed Income at BlackRock.
