On the morning of the 13th local time, Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, arrived in the Lebanese capital Beirut. Larijani, upon arriving at Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport, stated in a speech that "Iran will stand with the Lebanese people under any circumstances." Larijani expressed his intention to hold meetings with Lebanese officials including the president, speaker of the parliament, and prime minister, and added that Iran is "always committed to serving the highest interests of Lebanon."
