India has not made a final decision on anti-dumping of silicon dioxide from China.

On August 11th, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued a notice, making an affirmative final ruling on the anti-absorption of untreated silicon dioxide imported from or originating in China, and suggested amending the anti-dumping duties determined in the Customs Notification No. 66/2021-Customs dated November 11, 2021. The revised tax amounts are as follows: Shandong Dongyue Organic Silicon Material Co., Ltd.'s anti-dumping duty is changed from $1018 per ton to $1296 per ton, with the same effective period as determined in the Customs Notification No. 66/2021-Customs dated November 11, 2021; the anti-dumping duty for Wacker Chemical Silicon Dioxide Co., Ltd. and other Chinese producers remains unchanged at $0 and $1296 per ton, respectively. The Indian Customs code for the products involved is 28112200.
