On August 12, the Ministry of Finance, the People's Bank of China, and the Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission jointly issued a notice on the implementation plan of the fiscal interest subsidy policy for personal consumption loans, which will provide fiscal interest subsidies for qualified personal consumption loans. Agricultural Bank of China announced on August 12 that it will implement interest subsidies for personal consumption loans that meet the requirements of the notice starting from September 1, 2025, following market-oriented and legal principles.
