Dutch International Bank: Further weakening of the US dollar may benefit the euro.

Francesco Pesole, foreign exchange strategist at ING Bank in the Netherlands, stated that following lower than expected US inflation data released on Tuesday, the further weakening of the US dollar may benefit the euro. Pesole mentioned that a significant rebound of the US dollar "is only possible in the event of a substantial improvement in employment data." However, the potential for further increase in the euro against the US dollar may be limited before the meeting between Trump and Putin on Friday.
