Unified water dispatching, Yellow River achieves continuous flow for 26 years.

According to the Yellow River Conservancy Commission of the Ministry of Water Resources, as of 8:00 on August 12th, the national hydrological station located at the lower reaches of the Yellow River- the Lijin hydrological station- measured a real-time flow of 588 cubic meters per second. This means that, through the implementation of unified scheduling of Yellow River water volume, the Yellow River has continuously flowed without interruption since 1999 for 26 years. In the fiscal year 2024-2025, the cumulative water supply of the main stream of the Yellow River exceeded 22.3 billion cubic meters, providing water for the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal for four consecutive years, effectively supporting the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River basin.
