Germany is investigating manipulation of the natural gas market.

The Federal Network Agency of Germany is investigating potential manipulation in the domestic natural gas market. The regulatory agency said on Monday that the investigation involves the cost of converting one type of natural gas to another. Germany will be converting some of its natural gas supply as the type of natural gas provided by its largest suppliers, Norway and the Netherlands, is different and requires conversion in some parts of Germany for the natural gas pipelines and equipment to operate safely.
