Azerbaijan and Armenia sign draft peace agreement, explicitly renouncing territorial claims.
On August 11, local time, according to the draft agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia on establishing peace and interstate relations, both countries will abandon their territorial claims against each other. Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan's official social media account also published the text of the draft agreement. Pashinyan stated that the agreement lays a solid foundation for building a reliable and lasting peace, and is a result of mutual agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, taking into account the interests of both sides.
