Significant breakthrough in Xiyu High-speed Railway: Miaojiagou Tunnel is successfully cut through today.

The reporter learned from the Xikun Company of the Beijing-Kunming high-speed railway that on August 2nd, after 683 days of hard work by the builders of the China Railway 12th Bureau, a major breakthrough was achieved in the construction of the Xiyu high-speed railway, an important part of China's "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed rail network connecting Beijing and Kunming, and the Baoji-Haikou passage. The 1285-meter-long Miao Jialiang tunnel was successfully connected, marking the completion of the 28th tunnel in the Kangyu section of the Xiyu high-speed railway, laying a solid foundation for the entire line to be opened on time.
