The US dollar index rose by about 3.2% in July, breaking through the psychological barrier of 100 points for the first time since the end of May.

On Thursday, the New York closing, the ICE Dollar Index rose by 0.15% to 99.960 points. It has accumulated a 3.18% increase in July. From July 1-17, it rose steadily from 96.377 points to 98.950 points, before giving back some gains. From July 24-31, it rebounded smoothly from 97.109 points to 100.101 points, nearing the May 29 peak of 100.481 points. The Bloomberg Dollar Index rose by 0.11% to 1220.63 points, with a 2.56% increase in July. The overall trading range was between 1185.43-1222.08 points.
