Levitt: Trump today sent a letter to 17 pharmaceutical company CEOs regarding drug prices

White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt said President Trump issued letters to the CEOs of 17 pharmaceutical companies today, urging them to collaborate with him to implement his Most Favored Nation drug pricing executive order and lower drug prices. Companies receiving the letters include Eli Lilly and Company. Trump urged companies to take the following actions within the next 60 days: expand Most Favored Nation pricing to Medicaid, ensure new drugs are priced at Most Favored Nation levels, return overseas revenue to American patients and taxpayers, and directly purchase at Most Favored Nation prices.
