Reporters learned from a symposium on international arbitration held by the Ministry of Justice on the 31st that as of now, China has a total of 285 arbitration institutions and more than 60,000 arbitrators, including over 3,400 foreign arbitrators. In 2024, a total of 4,373 international arbitration cases were handled with a total amount of 197.8 billion yuan involved, which has made a positive contribution to promoting international economic and trade exchanges, serving the high-quality development of the economy, and high-level opening-up.
