China FAW: vehicle sales to exceed 5 million units by 2030, with over 3 million units being smart connected new energy vehicles.

At the 15th Party Congress of China FAW Group Co., Ltd. held today, Qiu Xiandong, Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee of China FAW Group, clearly defined the five-year struggle goal: to adhere to "one positioning," to complete the main tasks of the key adjustment period in about three years from now, and then to comprehensively strengthen the transformation foundation and achieve new breakthroughs in development in about two years, to achieve the main indicators of "six surpasses," "five leading industry foundations," and "five first-class operational management" by 2030. Among them, the "six surpasses" are: total vehicle sales, intelligent connected new energy vehicle sales, sales of independent brands, sales of independent brand intelligent connected new energy vehicles, and overseas market sales, surpassing 5 million units, 3 million units, 2 million units, 1.5 million units, and 700,000 units respectively; the average growth rate of employees' income continues to exceed the average level of central enterprises.
