Concerns about the basic rights protection of older workers, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security openly solicits opinions.
Reporters have learned from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security that from now until August 31, the "Interim Provisions on the Basic Rights and Interests Protection of Over-Age Workers" will be open to public comments. The "Provisions" refer to workers who are over the legal retirement age, focusing on the actual needs of over-age workers, clarifying the content of basic rights and interests protection, and strengthening the protection of basic rights and interests such as receiving labor remuneration, rest and vacation, labor safety and health, and work-related injury insurance for over-age workers. The "Provisions" also establish channels for dispute resolution, clarifying that over-age workers can protect their legitimate rights and interests by seeking mediation and arbitration for labor disputes, suing in court, or filing complaints with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
