From now until August 31, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security has issued a notice soliciting public opinions on the "Interim Provisions on the Protection of Basic Rights and Interests of Older Workers". The "Provisions" refer to workers who are older than the legal retirement age, focusing on the actual needs of older workers, clarifying the content of basic rights and interests protection, strengthening the protection of basic rights and interests of older workers in obtaining wages, rest and vacation, labor safety and health, and work-related injury protection, facilitating dispute resolution channels, and clarifying that older workers can protect their own legitimate rights and interests through labor dispute mediation and arbitration, filing lawsuits with the people's court, complaining to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and other means.
