The Malaysian Prime Minister announced that Trump will attend the ASEAN summit in October.

According to the host, Malaysian Prime Minister, the US President Trump plans to participate in the ASEAN leaders' summit in October; the summit will be held in Kuala Lumpur. Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar said on Thursday to Malaysian parliament members that the US President had accepted his invitation earlier that day over the phone. He added that they also discussed Trump's tariff policy to be announced on August 1, as well as efforts made in the past week to end the border conflict between ASEAN member countries Cambodia and Thailand.
