Jilin procuratorate lawfully filed a public prosecution against Li Deming for alleged bribery.

Recently, the case of Li Deming, former secretary of the Party group and director of the Jilin Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, suspected of accepting bribes, has been investigated and concluded by the Jilin Provincial Supervisory Commission, and transferred to the procuratorial organs for review and prosecution. Designated by the Jilin Provincial People's Procuratorate, the case was prosecuted by the Tonghua People's Procuratorate in accordance with the law to the Tonghua Intermediate People's Court. The case is still under further proceedings. During the stage of review and prosecution by the procuratorial organs, the defendant Li Deming was informed of his litigation rights in accordance with the law, and the defendant was questioned in accordance with the law and his defense counsel's opinions were heard. The Tonghua People's Procuratorate accuses the defendant Li Deming of taking advantage of his positions as Deputy Mayor of Taonan City, member of the Zhenlai County Committee and Deputy County Mayor, Party Secretary and Director of the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Baicheng City, member of the Baicheng City Committee and Secretary of the Tongyu County Committee, as well as Secretary of the Party group and director of the Jilin Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, to seek benefits for others, illegally accepting their property, with a particularly large amount, and should be held criminally responsible for the crime of bribery.
