In the first half of the year, the increment of charging infrastructure in our country increased by 99.2% year-on-year.

Journalists learned today from the China Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Promotion Alliance that from January to June this year, the increment of charging infrastructure in China nearly doubled compared to the same period last year. The latest data shows that from January to June 2025, the increment of charging infrastructure was 3.282 million, a 99.2% increase compared to the previous year. Among them, the increment of public charging facilities was 517,000, a 30.6% increase, while the increment of private charging facilities was 2.765 million, a 120.8% increase. In addition, as of the end of June 2025, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in China reached 16.1 million, a 55.6% increase compared to the previous year.
