On July 30, 2025, Li Yunze, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, met with Yao Jianhua, Chairman of the Hong Kong Insurance Authority, Zhang Yunzheng, Executive Director, and representatives from the Hong Kong insurance industry. The two sides exchanged views on the latest developments in the insurance markets in mainland China and Hong Kong, as well as deepening bilateral regulatory cooperation.
