Pan Huimin, Deputy Director of the New Energy and Renewable Energy Department of the National Energy Administration, stated that in the first half of this year, the country added 2.12 billion kilowatts of photovoltaic power to the grid, including approximately 1 billion kilowatts of centralized photovoltaic power and 1.13 billion kilowatts of distributed photovoltaic power. By the end of June 2025, the country's photovoltaic installed capacity will reach about 11 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 54.1%, with centralized photovoltaic power at 6.06 billion kilowatts and distributed photovoltaic power at 4.93 billion kilowatts. In the first half of this year, the country's cumulative photovoltaic power generation reached 559.1 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 42.9%, with a national average utilization rate of photovoltaic power generation at 94%.
