National Energy Administration: The production of raw coal in the first half of the year has steadily increased, with the output of large-scale industrial raw coal increasing by 5.4% year-on-year.
Xing Yiteng, deputy director of the Development Planning Department of the National Energy Administration, stated that in the first half of the year, raw coal production saw a steady growth, with output from large-scale industrial enterprises increasing by 5.4% year-on-year. Oil and gas production also saw steady growth, with crude oil output from large-scale industrial enterprises increasing by 1.3% year-on-year and natural gas output increasing by 5.8% year-on-year. Excluding the impact of the number of days, the daily electricity generation of large-scale industrial enterprises increased by 1.3% year-on-year. The capacity for large-scale electricity optimization and distribution further strengthened, with projects such as the Longdong-Shandong and Hami-Chongqing ultra-high voltage direct current transmission projects being put into operation for power transmission. Since the peak summer season, effective measures have been taken to deal with the historic peak electricity load of 15.08 billion kilowatts, and a nationwide orderly electricity usage plan has been implemented.
