Beijing: Strengthening reproductive health services

Strengthen reproductive health services. Optimize the allocation of maternal and child health care resources, implement in-depth programs to improve maternal and infant safety and birth defect prevention capabilities. Enhance research and application of reproductive health technologies, improve the level of reproductive medical services such as prenatal examinations, hospital deliveries, and postpartum care, strengthen psychological health services for pregnant women, promote the construction of reproductive-friendly hospitals, standardize diagnosis and treatment behaviors, and improve the childbirth experience for women. Reasonably determine the price levels of obstetric services, include appropriate childbirth pain relief and assisted reproductive technology projects in the scope of medical insurance payment, and adjust related medical insurance payment policies in a timely manner. Strengthen education on adolescent puberty and sexual health, prevent unintended pregnancies, carry out early pregnancy care services in depth, and ensure reproductive strength protection.
