Foshan City, Guangdong Province released a statement to the public, announcing the decision to activate Level III emergency response for public health emergencies in the city. This decision was made in accordance with the emergency response plan for sudden public health events and considering the current situation of the prevention and control of the Kyasanur Forest Disease outbreak in Foshan City.
