The US dollar index increased by 0.55% to 99.433. The euro fell against the US dollar, with the exchange rate at 1.148325 dollars, down by 0.53%. The US dollar also rose against the Swiss franc, with the exchange rate at 0.80955 francs, up by 0.51%.
