Huawei Cloud's North Africa Summit promotes regional transformation towards intelligence.
The Huawei Cloud North Africa Summit was held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on the 29th, attracting more than 600 government officials, business leaders, and ecological partners from over 10 countries and regions. At the meeting, Huawei of China put forward the "Five Universal" strategy to explore the transformation and development of regional intelligence through innovative technologies such as cloud and artificial intelligence. In his speech, Egyptian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, Khaled Fawzi, said that the local data hosting capacity in Egypt is continuously growing, which is not only a technological choice but also a guarantee of data security. Cloud computing, as the cornerstone of medical service development, can securely and efficiently manage patient data, promote innovation in medical research, and expand the coverage of high-quality medical services. Shijilin, President of Global Marketing and Sales Services of Huawei Cloud, said that the current global AI technology revolution brings opportunities for North Africa to make breakthrough developments, and Huawei Cloud will help North African countries to build intelligent cloud infrastructure and accelerate the intelligent upgrading of various industries. According to Feng Qiyou, Minister of Huawei Cloud's North Africa Business Department, Huawei's public cloud services now cover more than 300 customer businesses, involving fields such as financial technology, e-commerce, retail, finance, and government affairs.
