A journalist asked about the recent severe power outage on the island after Typhoon "Danas" hit, with the three billion subsidy for offshore photovoltaic facilities being destroyed and a phenomenon of "more photovoltaic panels, longer power outages" occurring. Some public opinion on the island pointed out that this exposed the failure of the Democratic Progressive Party's energy policies such as the "photovoltaic reaching standard plan." However, in the eyes of the Democratic Progressive Party authorities, 'people's livelihoods' are not about the livelihoods of the people, but about the business of the Democratic Progressive Party.
