Airbus Spain factory completes first A350F cargo plane horizontal stabilizer manufacturing work
On July 30th, according to Airbus, the company has completed the manufacturing of the first A350F cargo plane horizontal stabilizer at its factory in Spain. The production of the first horizontal stabilizer for the Airbus A350F cargo plane involved Airbus factories in Getafe and Puerto Real, with the former responsible for manufacturing components and the latter responsible for assembly and installation. The horizontal stabilizer will be transported to the A350F cargo plane final assembly line in Toulouse in the coming weeks, where it will be connected to the fuselage of the first test aircraft. Airbus is manufacturing two A350F cargo planes for flight testing in 2026 and 2027. Compared to current cargo planes in service, the A350F cargo plane will reduce fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions by at least 20%.
