Local time on July 29th, after a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft from Turkish Airlines flying from Istanbul to Antalya landed at Antalya Airport, the landing gear started smoking during taxiing. The crew evacuated the passengers using emergency slides on the advice of the fire and emergency rescue department. It is reported that all 247 passengers and 13 crew members on board are safe, with no reports of injuries or casualties. Preliminary inspections indicated that the smoke originated from a technical failure in the hydraulic system.
