On Tuesday, at the end of the trading day in New York, the yield on the 10-year US Treasury bond fell by 7.95 basis points to 4.3303%. It had been fluctuating narrowly below 4.42% until 17:25 Beijing time, before starting to decline. By 01:02 Beijing time, it had fallen to 4.3223%, setting a new daily low. The yield on the 2-year US Treasury bond dropped by 5.05 basis points to 3.8750%. At 16:54, it briefly rose slightly to 3.9262% to set a new daily high before continuing to decline. The yield on the 20-year US Treasury bond fell by 9.13 basis points, while the 30-year US Treasury bond yield fell by 9.00 basis points. The yield on the 3-year US Treasury bond fell by 5.36 basis points, the yield on the 5-year bond fell by 6.34 basis points, and the yield on the 7-year bond fell by 7.89 basis points. The yield spread between the 2-year and 10-year US Treasury bonds decreased by 2.662 basis points to +45.123 basis points.
