China Insurance Industry Association: Traffic safety coordination is limited to internal mutual aid within enterprises, selling externally is considered illegal and a violation of regulations.

Traffic safety coordination was originally a non-profit internal mutual assistance behavior carried out by transportation enterprises for their own vehicles. In recent years, however, it has been falsely packaged as commercial insurance and sold to the public by relevant agencies or individuals, causing a large number of disputes and harming consumer rights. The relevant departments of the country attach great importance to the issue and jointly issue the "Notice on Standardizing Matters Related to Traffic Safety Coordination", taking measures to regulate the behavior of traffic safety coordination.
