Albania: 18 people suspected of starting wildfires arrested.
Albanian police reported on the 29th that they have arrested 18 suspects accused of causing wildfires. The Albanian Ministry of Interior issued a warning on the same day, stating that deliberately setting fires can result in up to five years in prison in the country; if the fires cause significant property damage or serious harm to people's lives and health, the sentence can be 10 to 15 years in prison. As of the 29th, wildfires are still burning in Albania. According to the Albanian Ministry of Defense, firefighters extinguished fires in at least six locations on the 28th. The weather forecast shows that temperatures will decrease, which will help the fire department control the blaze.
